Remains of Francis Joseph Vidrine Possibly Found

There’s a great article in the Daily World  about Francis Joseph Vidrine (1921-1944) who died in action not long after D-Day in World War II and whose remains were never found. His remains might have been recently identified and hopefully DNA will be able to prove it so that they can be brought home and buried. You may remember him mentioned in a reflection about D-Day a few years ago on the Vidrine Family Site: http://vidrinefamily.com/…/05/75th-anniversary-of-d-day/
